Indoor Set Up Ideas

Keeping your rabbits in the best accommodation you can offer is very important. A happy bunny will have space to run, jump and explore and will have very little opportunity to be bored.

Our housing recommendations are based on the UK’s standard welfare requirements for rabbits – unfortunately there are no such laws in Australia. The UK advises giving your bunny a space no smaller than 3m x 2m x 0.7m. They need to have enough room to take three hops and stand up on their hind legs without their ears touching the roof. Stretching ensures your rabbit has healthy skeletal and muscle functions.
