What do rabbits eat?

Generally, a rabbits eats 80% hay, 15% leafy green vegetables and 5% fruits and treats.

  • Hay: Unlimited in quantity. Oaten, timothy and grass hay are readily accessible in Australia.

  • Leafy green vegetables: Such as cos lettuce, bok choy, mint, spinach and silverbeet.

  • Fruits and treats: Such as carrots, apples, bananas and high quality pellets.

Nope, they can’t eat iceburg lettuce!
